How do you help asthma sufferers recognise when they are at risk?
We found an innovative way to raise awareness about a common illness.
An atypical brief for us and an opportunity to subvert expectations in a typically cautious sector. Think. Act. Breathe aims to help people with asthma to identify if they are at risk and if necessary, to take action and speak to their doctor.
Our solution was to create an information packed microsite with an interactive element - the Shadow Experience. Using an HTML5 interactive video and microphone input control we challenged users to assess their own lung capacity by blowing away layers of shadow from the video.
With 5k unique visits per month, 10 pages visited per session and an average dwell-time of 9 minutes, the site has been a huge success in spreading awareness.
